Nillahcootie Estate Shiraz 2005
The Estate has a five acre block of Shiraz located on fertile soils above the Broken River. The vine canopy is carefully managed to ensure the fruit is exposed to adequate light. The grapes are hand-picked when the sugars are high and the flavour is intense. Our 2005 vintage has been aged for 24 months in American oak and boasts a dark crimson colour, offering spicy characteristics with a hint of oak vanillin. Forest berries, along some anise progress to a smooth palate to finish. Will cellar to 10 years. Alcohol 14.9% - 8.5 Standard Drinks

Maggies Paddock Cabernet Merlot 2005
Blend 65% Cabernet 35% Merlot.
In 1988, Maggies Paddock was planted specifically to produce premium grapes for the Estate's Merlot Cabernet Blend. Each year the grapes are hand picked at the time when ripening has peaked, giving the winery plenty of quality to work with. Successive vintages have seen an enhancement of fruit quality to the point where our aim of producing a balanced blended wine with warm berry flavours. and soft acidity has been achieved. This vintage exhibits good fresh reds in colour, complex varietal fruits which display hints of mint, blackberry and toasty oak. A rich and fruity pallet with soft tannins and good length. Aged for 24 months in French Oak. Alcohol 13.5% - 8.0 Standard Drinks

Nillahcootie Estate Shiraz Cabernet Merlot 2004
This premium blend from our 2004 vintage has been aged for 24 months in both French and American oak. Deep crimson in colour, this blend displays complex aromas which include hints of chocolate, black forest cake and smoky mocha oak. It has a rich rounded pallet with soft tannins and good length. Age for up to 10 years.

Our premium Merlot grapes continue to produce an excellent soft wine. A vibrant soft plum in colour leads to flavours of summer berries, with soft tannins . Aged for 24 months in French Oak and is ready to drink now. 13.4% Alcohol. 8 std drinks.
